The story behind the crown

Royal Match is a match-3 puzzle game developed by Dream Games, a mobile game studio based in Istanbul. Since its worldwide release in 2021, it has grown into one of the most-played puzzle games in the world, regularly topping the mobile charts.

The idea is simple: swap colored pieces to match three or more, clear level goals, and earn stars. Stars go toward restoring the rooms of King Robert's castle - from the royal garden to the grand ballroom - which gives the puzzle a story worth coming back to. Regular events, team play, and leaderboards keep the competition going between levels.

Unlike many games in the genre, Royal Match is built around levels that are hand-crafted rather than generated - which is why the difficulty curve feels deliberate and fair, and why beating a hard level actually feels earned.

Now on desktop

The game recently made the jump from phones to computers. The desktop version is the same Royal Match - same levels, same events, same account - running natively on Windows with mouse controls and big-screen visuals. Progress syncs both ways, so you can play a few levels on your commute and continue at home without missing a beat.
